What a class looks like
Forty-five minutes, built around you.
Your first visit is a clinical assessment. Priya asks about your history, your goals and anything that hurts, then watches how you move: walking, bending, balancing and a few simple tests on the reformer. You leave with a written program.
Each 1:1 session after that works through your program on the reformer, tower and Wunda chair, with Priya choosing the springs, range and load for each exercise. She explains why each one is there, so you know what to practise between visits.
Your program is reviewed as you progress. When you are ready, Priya may suggest the Clinical small group or a group class, and the group instructors work from the same principles.

“After my knee surgery I was nervous about any exercise. Priya’s assessment was so thorough, and every session since has had a clear reason behind it.”

FAQ
What happens in a clinical assessment?
Priya asks about your history, goals and any pain, then looks at how you move with a few simple tests. You leave with a written program to take into your 1:1 sessions. The assessment is $140.
Can I claim Clinical Pilates on my health fund?
Clinical Pilates sessions run by our physiotherapist may be claimable under extras cover. Check with your fund, then bring your card and we will process it on the spot.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to book. If your GP, specialist or surgeon has given you advice or a report, bring it along so Priya can build it into your program.
How is Clinical Pilates different from a group class?
A group class follows one plan for everyone. Clinical Pilates is led by a physiotherapist and built on your own assessment, with every exercise chosen for you.
Should I book Clinical Pilates or a group class?
If you are managing pain, an injury or a recent surgery, book a clinical assessment first. Our physiotherapist will tell you whether group classes suit you yet, and which ones.
