Inside a Flow class
Video · 2 min
What a class looks like
Fifty minutes, one continuous flow.
Each class opens with breath and a footwork warm up, then moves into longer sequences where one exercise leads into the next. Transitions are cued as part of the flow, so you keep moving without rushing your set-up.
Expect footwork, bridging, a kneeling arm series, lunges and a side-lying series, with balance and mobility woven between the strength blocks. Your instructor offers a lighter and a harder option for most exercises, so the same class suits a range of bodies.
You will finish warm and worked, with time for a closing stretch. Many members take Flow two or three times a week, then add Sculpt or Restore once the sequences feel familiar.

“Flow is the class I plan my week around. Ella keeps it moving without ever feeling rushed, and there is always an option when my shoulder needs one.”

FAQ
Can I come to Flow as a beginner?
Flow is open to all levels, but it moves faster than Foundations. If you are new to the reformer, start with a few Foundations classes or the intro week first.
How is Flow different from Reformer Sculpt?
Flow links exercises into a continuous full-body sequence at a moderate intensity. Sculpt slows the tempo and adds light weights and longer holds for a strength focus.
How often should I come?
Two or three classes a week suits most members. Many pair Flow with one Restore for mobility and recovery.
What if an exercise does not suit me on the day?
Tell your instructor before class. Every exercise in Flow has a lighter option, and your instructor can change a spring or a position for you.
How many people are in a class?
Ten at most, one per Merrithew reformer, so your instructor can see and correct every rep.
