Pelvic floor and core workshop
Aero studio, Burleigh Heads · 2 hours · $45
Reserve a spotDescription
Most of us are told to “engage the core” without ever being shown how. This two-hour workshop with physiotherapist Priya S. slows it right down: how your breath, pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles work together, and how to feel them working.
We start on the mat with breath and gentle activation, then move to the reformer, where the springs give you support and feedback. You leave with a short routine to keep practising at home and in class.
Open to members and non-members, from first-timers to regulars. Ten places only.

What guests say
Guest review
“Workshops at Aero feel like a class with more room to breathe. A small group, clear explanations, and nobody rushing you out the door afterwards.”

Questions
Do I need Pilates experience?
No. The workshop suits complete beginners and regular members alike. Priya offers options for every exercise, and the reformer section is fully guided.
I have pain or an injury. Is this workshop right for me?
This is a group education session, not an individual assessment. If you have pain, a recent injury or a medical condition, check with your GP or physio first, or book a Clinical assessment so Priya can look at your needs 1:1.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable activewear and grip socks (Aero grip socks are $22 at the desk). We provide reformers, mats, props, fresh towels, filtered water and tea.
What if I can no longer come?
Let us know at least 12 hours before the start and we will move your booking to another workshop. Later cancellations use the booking, but you are welcome to send a friend in your place.
